Low profile DEVGRU updated

This is an improvement from the same Low Profile DEVGRU kitbash I posted months back. You can check the pictures of the old one. Just look for the Low Profile DEVGRU from my earlier post. I'm loving this version a lot because I finally managed to find a pants that fit the Whiplash nude with the muscle thigh inserts on the legs. The first version was somewhat top heavy because I removed the muscle thigh insert to make the jeans fit.

Updated list:
Royce Predator headsculpt
Grey shirt also from T800
Tactical pants from Chris Redfiled Biohazard 5 boxedset
PH SEAL Team 10 Merrell boots
Soldier Story M-Frame
BBI M4

US Navy SEAL Team 10 bash

2 bashes and 1 out of the box figure. Playhouse really nailed it with this set and believe it or not, I really like the headsculpt. Some collectors find it less appealing. I read someone commented that not all operator are Brad Pitt. I totally agree with him. I tried my best to mix and match the existing gears to atleast differentiate one operator from the other. Hope you'll like the result and comments are very much welcome.

Cheers!

Navy SEAL VBSS

Another kitbash that turned out quite well in my honest opinion. One of my favorite in my small (but slowly growing) collection of military figures. The Marcus Wright headsculpt was just perfect for this bash. I used Toy Soldier Protec helmet which was a bit small and good thing the size of the headsculpt was just right. Using a headset for this project is out of the question and good thing I made two Invisio earpiece. I used the other one for the DEVGRU bash. Enjoy the pictures below and thank you so much for visiting!

Cheers!

DEVGRU Operator

A quick enjoyable bash. This is a DEVGRU low profile/VIP escort. I used Whiplash muscular nude, Chris Redfield headsculpt form Biohazard, photographer's vest from Playhouse Hoot boxedset, jeans from Nam M60 gunner boxedset, BBI ventilator hiking shoes, T800 shirt, Wild Work handset and PTT with custom made Invisio earpiece, BBI shades and Hot Toys M4. I modified the M4 to make it look proportionate with the scale. It was slighly over scaled so I chopped off a little bit of the front end of the retractable stock and shortened the barrel. I used T800 extra hands (good thing the skin tone matched the nude). Enjoy the pics below!

Cheers!

SEAL in woodland

Another kitbash that took me almost two months to complete. Hot toys UDT Woodland version as the base figure. It was a difficult task looking for loose parts off eBay to fit the theme. There maybe some inaccuracies with the era like the smoke bombs that I got from the US Navy SEAL in Vietnam Machine Gunner boxed set. Also thinking of removing the green part on the jungle boots. Again, no clear reference so I opted to keep it that way. Did some weathering on the gear using Tamiya Weathering Master. I tried it first on the boots (hope you'll like the result) and I think the result is not really that bad... I kinda liked it. Comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanks for visiting. Cheers!

SEAL Desert Ops (just an update)

This is the same figure from my first post and I just wanted to give you an update.
I replaced the TASC with Sordin and the M4 CASV to Mk18. The Mk 18 is custom painted and weathered by yours truly. The Mk 18 rifle originally had a suppressor on and I had to removed that one and replaced it with a flash hider. Hope you'll like the updated version. Cheers!

Hot Toys USSOCOM Navy SEAL UDT 2005 (Wetsuit Ver.)

This is the 2005 UDT (Underwater Demolition Team) version from Hot Toys Military. Hot Toys also released 2 other variants of UDT (I think), woodland version and the one with the MP5. This one came with an M4. After reading bad and good reviews on this figure, still decided to get one. As expected, the wetsuit has some flaking issues especially around the creases. I just couldn't imagine how this figure survived inside a sealed box for five years. It took me 2 hours gearing this one up. I just took my time as some of the parts were really fragile like the dive goggles (thank god I didn't break the head strap, straps and buckles of the tactical vest. My first comment, it only had one extra M4 clip. It would be nice if they included at least 3 more just to cover the sub load that needed four clips. I needed to fill that one up because they are exposed and unlike the tac vest that is hidden underneath the secumer vest. So I took 3 clips from my other figure. Problem solved.. It took me actually a couple of tries just to get it done and you'll be needing a careful planning. Here's a quick run down, 1. put on the tactical vest 2. attach the rebreather (now, this is tricky because you have to run the upper straps around the neck and lower straps around the torso) 3. attach the secumer vest, 4. then the hydration pack, 5. attach the butt pack 6. then attach the two small pouches. I didn't bother to put on the green water proof utility pouch as I have other plans for it. For the head area, 1. dive mask first 2. attach the NVG frame 3. then the comms. The other parts were easy to install and I think you wont have problems aside from the first two areas that I've mentioned. Enjoy the pics below and if you're planning on getting one, do not hesitate! It's a really cool figure!
